Soapbox DerbyOn Saturday June 17th, boys and girls from the 4th, 12th, 16th and 17th Scouts met at Valence School, Westerham to take part in the inaugural Soapbox Derby.There were thrills and spills galore as the carts hurtled down the course. The Ide Hill carts proved to be the quickest and their dare-devil drivers took the awards for the fastest carts. The Edenbridge cart was judged to be the best built - it was the only one not to roll over!! Well done to all those who took part in this event and particularly to the joint organisers from Westerham and Edenbridge. We all look forward to next year's classic races.
