100 Years of Scouting Party - 13-07-2007On Friday 13th July, all of the 17th Westerham Scout Group were invited to celebrate 100 Years of Scouting with a party at the Group HQ. Traditional party games followed by a barbecue provided fun and entertainment for all. At the end of the evening all of the group were given a small party bag and a slice of the special birthday cake featuring the Scout Logo and 100 Years. Jamie Gills wrote this after the event: It was good for all the beavers, cubs and scouts to be together to celebrate 100 years of Scouting. Everyone had a good time at the party which could not have happened without all the leaders' help. It is easily forgotten, how much time and effort is put into Scouting for all members of the Assocation, without them we could not carry on as a Group.
